One of my other faves that used to be somewhat obscure is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. It was recently made into a limited series for Apple TV, but I’ve not seen it. I doubt it could be as good as the audiobook.
I watched the show and didn't realize it was a book until I saw it on a list last week. The library doesn't have a copy though which is lame.

I’ve been listening to The Expeditionary Force series by Craig Alanson. Came across it because it is read by RC Bray…one of my favorite narrators. It is sci-fi with attitude. Been a long time since I’ve laughed out loud to myself while listening to or reading a book.

One of the stranger books I have read.
This book is dark. Half way through and it's making me think while I'm sitting at my kids school in the rain.

Couldn’t quite finish “Steve Jobs” by Walter Isaacson, same author of “Elon Musk.” I believe it was written with the same impartiality. However, as I listened to Jobs, it made me want to get rid of all my Apple products, and when I listened to Musk I wanted to buy a Tesla.

I just finished The Comfort Crisis. Great book! I'll definitely be making some changes to my actities and unplugging more when I'm out and about.

Hitchhiker's Guide is amazing. If you liked that, try Good Omens by Pratchett and Gaiman (don't watch the show).

Cormac McCarthy, is one of my all time favorite authors, i think his best work is The Road.... reading it is like dark poetry, I have read it more times than I care to admit.

I recently finished American Serengeti by Dan Flores on audiobook. Lots of good information about the history of the American Great Plains.
I had red rising on my library hold list forever and it finally came through. I read it quick and am not on the fourth book in the series I think. I haven't been able to get into it deep yet but they have been entertaining.
