A maybe pick up a small utility trailer if you find do you miss having a bed.
Can you store the bike in the back of the Excursion?
It won't turn as good with front leaves.
Sounds like a good plan. I prefer ifs over solid front axle, but it sounds like you're done with TV. Those v10s like to rev and are found in almost every gas rv these days. Excursions are spendy, aren't they?
Wait Wait Wait, now I vote this one. And he truly wants a small fortune

I’ve been through a few Super Duty trucks and one Excursion. I’d buy one. See if you can get one with the 4.30 gears, swap to F350 springs and drive it. Good rigs. I got about 12 mpg freeway with my 3.73 geared 35” tires 6” lift F250. 8-9 mpg towing
Hah, that's exactly what Brett was saying, aim for the 4.30 and swap in F350 springs right away. It's almost like you two have driven a Ford or two.
BE INFORMED IF LOOKING AT A 6.0L FORD DIESEL. There’s a couple 6.0 threads on this board that will tell you what you need to know
Stay away? Very very far away? Pretty sure thats what you need to know
Oh yeah, forgot to mention that! 44-45 gallon tanks are apparently standard . Never carry a jerry can again.
