I run the cobra 29xlt with weather channels... and the GF has the cobra 19dx both very good cb's!!! if you don'tmind spending a few bucks there is a place that will sell you a cobra that has been modified for more power and modulation but you play like 30 bucks more for the upgrades....

But stuck more often.
I have a $5 radio shack cb that I got on ebay. A few runs ago I pulled the cable out of the antana. Funny thing is, it works just as well now as it did before!.......which doesn't say much for how well it worked before.

My parents live a few blocks away from the address listed so I looked last weekend & it was a regular house w/ no signs at all so I don't think so.

Pretty sure its a mail-order business, but if you call I bet he would be willing to meet up with you or have you stop by. He hooked up a pile of my pals with CB's and antennas, they couldn't be happier with his goods.
