I posted this on Facebook a couple days ago. Since that means only one or two RMEers might see it, I decided the rest of you might also need a laugh... so here it is.
I admit it: I am tired of the breast cancer awareness campaign. It's an awful disease--as are all cancers--but it makes October almost unbearable thanks to all the damn pink ribbons. You can see them on packaging for batteries, cookies, pants, cans of soup... they're everywhere. (And nothing says 'useless gesture' quite like an awareness ribbon.)
Well, now somebody has gone TOO far. While browsing the web, my little sister found this dessert recipe which celebrates (?) breast cancer research or something like that. They are called... and I'm not making this up... Mammo-Grahams.
