It’s been awhile since I have seen a Kirkland branded bourbon while doing my bootlegging in Vegas. They had this small batch for $20 a bottle. I am not a connoisseur like @DAA so this might be a little below his standard Overall it is not bad. It is definitely a Smokey bourbon.
I know it’s not rare or fancy, but Mila Kunas told me it’s good so I figured I would give it a try. Spicy, with a nice slow burn, and a long lasting vanilla aftertaste, this is pretty good!
I just returned from a week of training in Omaha Nebraska, I picked up a few from Nebraska. First up is Cooper Chase Burbon, this was highly recommended from locals
And finally a bottle from Lazy RW - lemon flavored Whiskey, it does separate which I’m not sure how I feel about, I’m hoping that means it naturally flavored. This one was a internet board recommendation as something very unique, I thought my wife may enjoy it with me
Oops I forgot I also pick up a bottle from Wahoo Distillery- Wahoo Whiskey, it’s a 90 proof, and is advertised as distilled in Wahoo Nebraska from locally grown corn.
My last two bottles were finds for my scratch off bucket list
A bottle of Chicken Cock Kentucky straight bourbon, and a bottle of Jefferson’s aged at sea Rye double barrel . It has a little ships log attached to it, that describes where that bottles batch was aged at. That is kinda unique.
