Winter Wonderland Whuppin', Jan 26

Anyone in for some snow wheeling up in Mantua on the 26th of Jan? There were some folks that went a couple of weeks ago and had a blast.


Meet at the old Albertsons on 5600 and Main in Roy and leave about 8:00 am... just passed the Sinclair. It is easier to make the left turn then turn into the parking lot at Taco Bell or the next light heading south on Main.

There's plenty of parking up in Mantua at the trailhead for trailers and such. Should be unloaded and ready to head up from the trailhead about 9:30-10:00 am...

if i have my new tires i'll try to make the trip. i haven't been snow wheeling up that way before so it should be fun. Only places i've gone snow wheeling is the bountiful b and farmington canyon. so a new place would be good.

without snow its easy dirt trails/playing in the trees, but expect deep snow. requirements will vary, trip before last i (about 6 weeks ago) i took a stock 87 4runner with 2 bald street tires and 2 bfg at (about 60% tread) up to the peak, snow was fairly packed. last trip none of us made it to the main playing area haha. if you dont want to bring your rig you could ride with me in my chevy blazer.

i'm in, and this time i can have my windows up!!!

I'm in for almost certain unless the roads are horrible. I was gonna say I have no windows either but I do have a windshield.
