Ok, I'm on my THIRD CPS in two years in my Powerstroke.
The first two made it run poorly when they went out, but this last one, it just wouldn't start. I had NO CLUE (well, "I" didn't think it would be that--there's one in my glovebox I should have tried) it could be CPS and had Nelson Diesel (1565 Redwood Rd., Woods Cross) fix my truck. Felt pretty good about them as I thought I was in for a $,$$$.$$ fix and they were pretty reasonable and quite quick to diagnose/fix.
Does anyone KNOW what's actually wrong with these things?
Poor grounding?
Fragile component on the front of a motor that tends to vibrate?
Any knowledge out there?
