This. When they came and installed in our neighborhood. Dug a big trench in my freshly restored park strip. (Still baby grass) left the hole in my park strip and the street in front for weeks. Kept my patch of grass they removed watered so it would survive. When they finally finished my patch of grass disappeared, and barren dirt (mostly gravel) was left, called and complained. About a week later a very dead patch showed up clearly from someone else’s yard as it wasn’t even close in shape.

They just did this on our street, and you're right, they did a terrible job and were dickheads while they were doing it. I've already got Quantum fiber to the house so Google can kick rocks.

I talk a lot of trash about expos and car shows but it is pretty cool to stand around and talk to fellow enthusiasts. The only thing I hate is that someone always gets cut out of the conversation by accident. I’ll be chatting with someone I want to talk to and someone else cuts in. I hope I didn’t cut anyone out tonight!

This is the second time I had to pull him out today. I yanked him out of one bank and he got about half a mile before his ass end came around and he went right back in. They were slightly too big, but I put my chains on him anyway and we gimped over the rest of the pass at fifteen mph.

Well, the white crap from up north found its way to Green Town. 
Google fiber contractors showed up today, a week early on the dot. A neighbor posted on FB that they showed up to his house early so I wasn’t too shocked. The dude speaks ZERO English but I’m not a racist dick so I worked with him on Google translate and with the very limited Spanish I know. They can’t run it through the Comcast conduit like I was hoping without going through my neighbor’s yard so I opted for the other side, through my unfinished front and sideyard. Then they’ll run it around the house under the brick wainscoting stuff and punch it in where the Comcast goes in the house. Seems easy enough. They could’ve picked a less muddy day though… it sucks out there.
