Nothing I'm worried about. Statistically the engine manufacturing debris (causing a bearing issue) is a impacting a tiny number of owners, Toyota will be issuing a recall for those models affected. We will likely swap this out for a new model before the 6yr/70k warranty expires. That said, I had a LX600 that was within the future recall range, zero issues. Half our race team, XO and many customers are rocking the V6TT, I personally don't know anyone that's had the issue. I'm sure at some point I will as I don't discount it as being a legit issue.

First float of the season. With river flow near 17,000 cfs (according to the interwebs) the usual 2 1/2 hour trip from the museum to the geyser took us roughly 1hr 10 minutes. I’m still bummed I wasn’t able to get on the river last year during run off. That trip would’ve been a blast.

Have you followed Dave around the desert? I'm pretty sure things like "slowing down for that bump" are against his religion. I had to pick Icons for the New Bastard just so I can try and keep up with Dave when he's leading.

He wanted to practice welding more and make his own bumper. It's been pretty fun having him show interest in creating stuff in the shop now.



He also learned that sitting like that makes for fun hot spots in your pants.
