I usually try and put 50% of my weight on each foot so you should be back to full use in a week. Sucks you can't play hop scotch for a few more weeks though.
Oh. I will. As a RN I understand the need to follow Dr's orders. I will take it easy. Thanks for the advice. When I was significantly younger and slightly dumber than I am now, I tried to wrap my ankle around a tree while I was strapped to a snowboard, and I mostly succeeded. I've had a plate and six pins in it ever since. I did not listen to my doc, and I started using the walking boot (and then NOT using the walking boot) way sooner than I was supposed to, and I've regretted it ever since. I know it sucks, but don't be tempted to rush the Dr's timeline. Do what the man says.
As an amateur welder, I’d like to talk with your surgeon about proper fit-up techniques. Here are some X-rays from my recent surgery. Thankfully got the cast off today. Can start applying 25% weight to it for a week. Then 50% for a few day then 75% for a few days and then 100% still in a walking boot bit Will be glad to be on both feet again. It sure feels weird though to put weight on it again. I will he far from 100% for the memorial run but good enough to drive my buggy around. View attachment 177367
He left a gap so it will weld together stronger than just 2 flushed things meeting together with zero gap.As an amateur welder, I’d like to talk with your surgeon about proper fit-up techniques.
😂
That’s the same excuse I use when @SoopaHick sees my welds. He left a gap so it will weld together stronger than just 2 flushed things meeting together with zero gap.
Should have ground out a chamfer and turned up the amps.He left a gap so it will weld together stronger than just 2 flushed things meeting together with zero gap.
In the industry we call those guys "Fitters." We don't like fitters. He left a gap so it will weld together stronger than just 2 flushed things meeting together with zero gap.
Sad day today. After safeguarding this pen for over three years and using it almost daily it has run dry. I would have never guessed this cheap pen would last so long. Then again, I’m sure no one’s held on to one for so long. 😢

If someone would just pop into Marshalls for me and grab one or ten and send it I’d really appreciate it. 😳😂

But that's like putting a small block Chevy into a Ford! It’s the most common basic pen. Get another and switch the cartridge.
That is also the correct move. But that's like putting a small block Chevy into a Ford!
