I've had this hitch for about 24 years. It's always been bent on the flange. Today I tried to straighten it in my press. It spilled my beer when the press jumped.

This is generally how I fix stuff that isn't broke. Glad I'm in good company.

That was a fun event but the sh!t show that ensued after was epic. In fact my signature line that shows up in the web browser version of the forum was an epic @Cody comment in that thread. I think @Herzog still has that archived somewhere.

Hit the mouth of LCC at 6:30. Hit mild traffic at the mouth, bumper to bumper about half way up. Was so anxious about the snow pack and the 30+ inches of fresh... only to be outdone by freezing rain and a good 1/2 inch layer of ice on top of the “good snow”. I would say half of the valley had the same idea as us. Lines were ridiculous... made two runs and left. This line was much bigger when we got back down. Today will be known as the pow day that never happened.

Picked up a new to me TrailManor! It was a white knuckle nightmare crossing i80 Wyoming in the middle of a blizzard/hurricane/monsoon but we made it home safe. Special thanks to @Blauer Geist for making the drive with me!

My wife joined a group called Wenches with Winches... so I joined them for a short trip up Rattlesnake. My wife took her ‘49 Willys and let me drive her daily ‘20 Willys. First time I’ve driven it off-road in anything semi-serious. I’m impressed. Was cool to hear the little turbo whistling in low range.
