I hit that target once. I'll admit it was pure luck after several failed attempts. It still felt pretty good, though.

"Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer". Our travels across Northern Europe left me intrigued and anxious to return for more. Ironically, many in our group can trace ancestors back to this area. Candace has deep roots in Norway (Engh's) and I have a great deal of family that came the Denmark area (Rasmussen's). The goal of this @xoverland Nordic Series was to traverse Norway, Sweden and Finland with a trip to Nordkapp, the northernmost driveable point in Europe. Along the way we visited humbling war museums, ancient churches, camped on the Russian border and met amazing people throughout. I'll be back... #xoverland

A very remote German battery (base) in Northern Norway. Found it on Google Earth, not a tourist spot. Amazing!

I need to spend more time in northern Europe. Worked a 400 mile sled dog race in Norway few years ago- but almost all our driving between check points was at night in snow storms so didn't see near as much as I would have liked.

If you get on the wrong line on this obstacle, your rear tire gets pinched into the bottom of a scissor-like rock wedge and you'll quickly lose oil pressure.

I think they're Mickey Thompsons. They did really well. I think they're ugly as sin, but they took this rig up any climb he navigated pretty quickly. He did not navigate this one well.

You are right, I think they look awesome. One of the guys around here runs them on an XJ and speaks well of them.
