Friendly reminder. The route on the south side of Miller Hill is not open to motorized vehicles up to the saddle where you are parked. The FS has been discussing closing that entire south side route. There is a small turnaround spot before you climb up to the pass, there is generally a carsonite 'No Motorized' sign there but like many in AFC, it disappears often.

Took a day trip to Taos yesterday with a friend from Idaho to pick up his new old Power Wagon. Went over Brazos Summit in New Mexico at 10,528 feet elevation. Colors were fantastic.

Sitting. And it took them a few minutes to get it down. We saw the guy walk up with a strap immediately but then they appeared to really take their time. The driver was a lady and she looked nervous when they had us pass so I’m sure she was having a great time 🤣

It’s seriously a space ship. I was impressed by everything I saw, on the trail and taking off on the road. It was also quiet and very smooth the whole time. The only thing that sucks is I didn’t ride in it for some reason but I’ll do that next time I see him. I was just too busy.

Seen two of them on roll backs yesterday headed towards SLC. Different times of day and one was covered in mud. Hopefully not a sign of things to come...
