Thought I would share this with the Willy’s guys on here. A good friend of mine acquired this 1947 Willys that was his grandpas. It was parked in 1967 then he and his dad got it running in 1983. It then was taken by his uncle when his dad died in 1985. Not what his dad intended but that’s what happened. It has sat for the last 40 years and he got the opportunity to get it back after his uncle died.
He has a guy getting it back into running order for him. It has a hard top also.

He said he can’t wait to drive all 50 horses of itThat's awesome, love the frame-off approach! Having an old Flatty with that kind of family history is well worth preservation.
Eww. Gross.
California is full of amazing terrain. Too bad about the natives.California only sucks when it's full of Californians. The land itself is pretty special.
I fared a bit better. Arrived this morning on a transport. They should be able to get the PDI done on it today and ready to be picked up. Might have to come back tomorrow to get the wheels and tires put on. View attachment 178097
