My daughters '93 was doing the exact same thing just a few weeks ago. I thought of everytning that's been mentioned on this thread. I finally ended up taking the connector apart that goes to the neutral safety switch and did the test that the Haynes manual suggests. I jumped the park terminals...

Are your parents crazy? Buying an XJ will be just as good a wheeler with the right set up. I agree with everyone else. Get the RE 5.5 Extreme duty lift and ask for the adj. upper and lower CA's. It's a $100 upgrade and well worth it if you want to clear the 35's. Use an ACOS spring spacer...

More than happy with my RE kit. Lots of flex.

Oh, by the way, I do have a daily driver that flexes in the rear. Ditch the alcans Jeepzz.
