Hey all. Getting ready to do these trails as a support vehicle for some biker friends. I was curious as to what type of armor for my truck would bee needed or recommended? I have a 2016 Tacoma double car short bed. I figure sliders at least, but would belly pans be needed? Thanks for any input.

I have one I bought from Costco. It works well. I disconnected my battery completely and plugged the pack directly to the truck cables. Fired right up several times. I think it cost like 60 bucks.

Hum, it appears to me there are several spots where he makes no attempt to drive dry trails. Yes, part of that trail at times can have runoff, but look at the parts where he simply drives in the water when there is dry trail. IDK, guess to me it seems stupid but eh, just me.

Came across this video today and you can clearly see its up AF canyon (mineral basin) This is the kind of crap that gives all off road uses a bad name and which leads to trail closures. Tread Lightly out there...

LOL, when I come home with it :) I know, I am scared I will.... Ya, they are heavier, but only slightly. The 2018 Models are ~10.6 lbs lighter then the 2017 making them right on par or lighter then the KTM. But, even if I get a 16 or 17, the oil injection alone makes the few extra lbs more...
