I will be running this radiator from superior radiator, came with fan, Should the fan be replaced? Some people claim that it's no good.
Whats a good fan to run without braking the bank?

Also what overflow tank are you guys using?

Ditch the fan and go with spal’s highest rated cfm in 16”. Can’t recall the part number right off. I’d also look into a PWM controller for it.

Overheating issues on the trail are not fun, ask me how I know! I added a high CFM Spal to my TJ with a LS3 that was running hot, with a new shroud. Made all the difference in the world.
What shroud did you use? I don't even think there is room for a shroud.

That radiator has a shroud already, mine did not... just a fan attached to the radiator. I added a shroud and a big Spal and now it stays nice and cool.

I'd upgrade your fan if the one it comes with is known to be an issue, bolt it to the shroud on that radiator.

I had to buy a low-profile fan to fit mine, so it was even more $$$$.

That’s surprising. I installed that setup in my LJ with the 4.0, knowing I was going to install the LS soon. It was barely enough fan for that engine. I have the big spal fan ready to install this week.

I should add that I have no barrier between my engine bay and the wheel wells and no A/C and I have hood vents. So my whole engine bay is basically open

What about this 3000 cfm flex A Lite fan? Our winter season last from November to may. Do I really need a $400+ fan?

It's a decent brand, moves a ton of air so those are good... but you want a puller, not a pusher since your fan will be mounted behind the radiator.

I would avoid a straight blade fan. They move a lot of air but are much louder. I like quiet so that’s me.
