    SAS Xterra???

basically it goes like this. it is for upper balljoint only. it is mounted towards top of upper control arm. there is a 1/4" spacer that u can get from independent4x or some other place that sells them, I believe they match, don't hold me to it. there are 3 10mm bolts holding that upper bj. U...

    SAS Xterra???

I would suggest that you check those nissan forums I wrote about in my first reply. check it out, those guys can save u some money, that is how me and my buddies figured out that you can lift 1st gen Rodeo for 3" on some 33's on the very cheap like $150 or so... a lot of stuff they give in those...

Swap the rear 35 in my TJ for???

you can always do Isuzu D44 rear from 98 Rodeo or newer, it is about same width, I think it is 60"WMS. The bad thing is that wheel bolt pattern is 6x5.5. 30spline shafts and it is set up for 4link from factory... ratios are 4.10 autos and 4.30 manuals. I know that rear ends are funky in gear...

    SAS Xterra???

if he has got the cash to back it up total chaos has a great IFS long travel kit. as far as the xterra's being tall there is ways around that. I kept Rodeo SUA in the front for this very reason, on 35's it sits about the same as IFS Rodeo with 3" SL plus 3" BL sitting on some 33's. If they do...

Isuzu dana 44 rear end ?'s

Well not that I am worried, they have been holding up pretty good, I know of only one guy that has broken rear axleshaft so far. I will be welding it up this weekend needles to say it will see more stress than it did with TruTrac that is currently in there. So if I can I will upgrade shafts...

Is there a local dealer for aussie lockers?

dang it man, they have sure gone up in the price since I had one. I think that I will stick to Miller for rear, and once the front is beefed up same thing with some ram assist. I know its better to go with spools but those have gone from like $160 to $200 or better... this time I am on the...

Isuzu dana 44 rear end ?'s

You can find some, there is no doubt about it, but it is hard to get ahold of some of that zu stuff. I know that right now at pick and pull at 3300 s 500 w there are few Rodeos and one new gen Trooper. I might be heading there this Saturday to pick me a auto tcase for my dual case conversion if...

Isuzu dana 44 rear end ?'s

it really depends on what you will be using it for. On older housings like mine pre '98 you can use standard Dana stuff on them as far as the R&P go. So your choices there are unlimited. Since I do not know what you will be using it on, it does have 6X5.5 bolt pattern, like most chevys and...

    SAS Xterra???

you should look up xterra owners club on the web,. they have a ton of good info on there for you and have the forum that is dedicated to SAS X's. It seems like Calimin kit was designed to only take beating from about 33"tire, like someone stated you will need body lift in order to fit 35's. Some...

    How best to use $2,000

Here is what I have to add to what has been said previously. I am what you would call an owner of an odball rig. I have started with stock Isuzu Rodeo. In last three years it has come a long way. There isn't too many of them on the trails and it is a pretty stout vehicle right from factory...

What drivetrain should I use for my buggy?

my dibs are for Ford 5.0 (302ci), prefferably out of Mustang or exploder V8, it has standalone engine managment system, C4 or C6 tranny, if you go woth C4 you can get short adapter from AA, as far as tcase goes, pretty much whatever you desire, lets say a 205 bolted to Wagoner Machine service...

    Breaking News: Atlas 4 Speed

also Stak case is out with overdrive as well. they now have three different offerings.. looks like really good quality product, as far as the Atlas goes I believe that AA is only doing it as upmanship to Stak. let the tcase wars begin. here are current ratios available: 1. 4.33 to 1 low, 1 to...

    Saturday up 5 mile

thank you Wayne, that is exactly what my post was saying. I am not going to make it too easy, sometimes you just need that extra bit of clearance to make it through without breaking and ruining yours and everybody elses time on the trail. I have done Rattlesnake when I still had an IFS, true I...

    Saturday up 5 mile

I agree with everything that has been said so far, but there is something else that hasn't been mentioned yet. what about those wahoos that are constantly changing the trails, rolling more rocks on it, to make it harder. I am sorry, but not all of us have deep pockets to afford D60's, coilover...
