the old style seal fits in the new housings. Also the old style cover will bolt on the superduty housing it just stick out further and sometimes interferes with tie rod clearance.

Odysseys with a battery tender all winter is a winning combo.

The only work around is to license it at an address in a county that doesnt require emissions which I do not condone this type of behavior.

I am not aware of a way they can cheat the current emissions tests, They plug into the OBD2 port of your truck and the VIN has to match the VIN on the registration. Not to mention the penalty for getting caught is STEEP and includes possible jail time for the technician.
