    JKUR best years

I have seen it as early as 50k and I want to say its roughly a $3000 repair. There is also a HUGE class action against FCA for the valvetrain issues. There is tons of info on it on the google if you want to inform yourself a little more

    JKUR best years

To expand on this ALL High Mileage 3.6s including JKs and JLs have cam issues. We talk to atleast one Jeep owner a week currently dealing with it. the 3.6 JK is by far the more enjoyable Jeep to drive but be prepared for some costly engine repairs down the road.

    JKUR best years

Lowest cost of ownership longterm is the 2007-2011 3.8 Liter JKs. They are more reliable but SUPER Gutless. The interior in the 2012+ JKs Is way better and they are more enjoyable to drive due to the 5 speed transmission and more horsepower. Overall if this is her daily driver tell her not to...

Anyone have the ability to build/narrow D60 front housing?

It depends on how "correctly done" he wants it, We have done a number of them where we cut the tubes off and then machine a press fit sleeve to then press the tubes on the opposite side with out having to worry about milling out the plug welds or pressing the old tube out of the housing. IMO as...

Zip Locker Install- Where to go from here?

I would be willing to bet you need the 4 series zip locker. I’m not positive and I don’t care enough to look it up but I’m pretty sure the XF Dana 60 gear is just a high pinion gear not a thick gear.

General Tech How would you build a rear steer axle?

I like it but in an ecotec powered light weight car you dont need 40 spline stuff. That adds alot of weight and loss of ground clearance and 40 spline stuff is costly. In my old ecotec powered 2 seat car I had it bound up so hard one time I was full throttle in low range and nothing was...

General Tech Building a light recreational trail buggy

IMO a small light weight car should have 104-108ish wheelbase with a 18-20" belly height. I have never not made it up something cause my wheelbase was to short.

General Tech How would you build a rear steer axle?

After building tons of rear steer axles the last few years, I would do a 9" with superduty outers and a 3" ram. The fabricated center section makes it way easier to mount the ram and it just looks cooler. 9" parts are cheap enough that its not a bank breaker. There is also no need to go...
