I got a warranty replacement on the wheel bearing. I went for a 20 mile spin at freeway speed with no noise. I'll update the thread if the noise comes back, or if it remains silent for a month or so. Fingers crossed.

Another update... I replaced the u-joint on the drive shaft (which was frozen) and put it back on. I also replaced the axle on the driver's side. The noise is still there. I'm going to try to warranty the wheel bearing. When I replaced it, the noise went away for a while. When I was...

I have a 2001 WJ Laredo with a mysterious and irritating front axle noise. I'm about to rebuild the front differential. If anyone has a matching complete assembly in good shape, I would rather just swap the whole thing out. Let me know what you have.

Not bad. You will find that Go Pros are useless at low light photography though. They are awesome for daylight action photography, but almost any other camera will be better at night.

Just checked. My mower is already 8.75 hp. So, that's not the problem...

Some good ideas there. I actually kinda like the idea of making the smallest riding mower by adding a seat and steering. The 11 horse motor is probably not practical, given the contours in my back yard.

It's been doing okay, today I noticed it leaving quite a bit of large clippings on top. I sharpened the blade and removed the thick buildup of crap under the mower. I think it will be quite a bit better now, but I like the idea of trying a dedicated mulching blade. Any recommended brands?
