    D44 ChroMo question

I've been running Waggy D44's with stock shafts and spicer joints on my samurai buggy for several years now with no problems, other than one rear shaft that I bent and twisted the splines. I may finally have some money to upgrade the shafts, so I would like some opinions one which brands to use...

    Help us re-open Coyote Canyon

You bet! Here's the latest: BLM has told us that they still do not have a procedure in place for approving new trails, but they WILL take information on any trails that we would like them to add. I expect to submit our package to them in a couple of weeks. As far as letters go, I have...

    Iroks vs TSL

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking regular TSL's (not SX's) because of the price and the weight. Does anyone have any pics they can post showing how they grooved their tires? Also, does grooving effect how long they last? Like I said before, my Iroks are really wearing fast. In a little over...

    Iroks vs TSL

I'm thinking about buying some 38x12.00x15 bias TSL's for my next set of tires on the samurai. I currently am running 36x13.5x15 bias Irocks, and like how they perform, but they are wearing very fast. I'd like to hear some opinions from people who are familiar with both. My rig only sees...

    Tube fender questions

I have lived in Moab for over 10 years, and for most of that time my fenders have not covered my tires. For the last 3 years, they have only covered 50%. I have never been pulled over, and I average 50+ trail days per year. But then, I at least have some tire coverage, I always put on my...

    Help us re-open Coyote Canyon

Help us re-open Coyote Canyon Background: Coyote Canyon is one of Moab’s premier rock crawling trails. With the implementation of the BLM’s new Moab RMP, it is now closed to vehicle traffic. Why it was closed: The new RMP limits motorized travel to “designated” routes. Any route to be...

    Cliffhanger, Porcupine Rim in Danger

Some of you may have heard about BLM’s planned oil and gas lease in the Moab area coming up on December 19th. There has been a lot of noise regarding the proximity of some of the parcels to Arches NP, as one parcel could be in sight of Delicate Arch. Well, there is more. Several parcels are in...
