    Moab trip in October!!!

Don't believe the ratings. On a scale of 1-5, if Hells is a 4, than Pritchett is off the charts. Not even in the same league!

    moab on Labor day

Official participants for Labor Day usually run around 120-150, so it is really small compared to EJS. You can usually sign up on Saturday morning for most trips, but it is always better to pre-register. There will be trips all three days, but registration is only on Saturday AM. Go to the RR4W...

    Winches...

I ran a Ramsey REP8000 for over 10 years, and used it dozens of times. It never once let me down, but it was painfully slow. If it was me, I'd save up a few hundred more and get a Warn.

    We Be Jeepin' Moab website

Yeah, sorry about that, the website isn't working. Dave (greenjeep) will have it up and running again soon (hopefully). In the meantime, just email Dave if you want to be added to the email list... we usually have at least 3 trail rides per month.

    Iroks

I have 37x15.50's on my Samurai. I think they hook up great in the rocks, and the few times I had them in the snow I loved them. I like them better than my old 37" MTR's. But I just blew out my second sidewall in less than 3 months, both on relatively minor impacts. In my opinion, the radial...

Memorial Weekend '08; Area BFE- LockJaw & Greenday and the Pickle

I had a great time on Lockjaw and Green Day! That Samurai-eating tree wasn't too bad, only claimed a broken mirror and a little scuffed paint. I was a bit more upset about destroying yet another Irok... that's two in the last three months. I got a great deal on them, but enough is enough...

    lookin for some HONEST direction

Check out www.webejeepinmoab.com. Also, since Easter Jeep Safari is just a few weeks away, there will probably be a lot of "pre-runs" over the next few weekends. People usually meet at the City Market parking lot in Moab at 9:00 AM, it should be pretty easy to find someone to tag along with.

    Inquiring minds....

If anyone is in Moab and wants to do Pritchett tommorow (Sunday), a few of us are meeting at the trail head at 11:00. We are taking a bunch of guys we met from Australia, and we could use some extra seats!

Monticello BLM RMP Meeting in SLC - 1/10/08 - Be there!!!

Arch Canyon and Hotel Rock are popular Jeep Safari trails that will be effected under the Monticello RMP. Arch Canyon would be closed under the "green" alternative. Lockhart Basin in also under the Monticello RMP, along with thousands of miles of roads. By the way, a public Monticello RMP...

    BLM Moab Resource Managment Plan

Moab Friends-For-Wheelin’ will be supporting the BLM’s Alternative C. We will, however, be making numerous comments, and asking for several changes. Below are some of the things we have identified so far: A. There are sections of several permitted Easter Jeep Safari trails that are left off the...

    What are your NPLD plans?

We had a great time on our project. Weather was sunny and nice, just a bit windy. We installed carsonites and a fence in Pritchett Canyon, and re-seeded the two old "hill climbs". At the Pritchett Arch hiking trail, did a bunch of re-seeding, installed signs, and marked the hiking trail with...
