The BLM is aware of the Yellow Hill bypass. Like most new bypasses, they would prefer that it didn't exist, but they also acknowledge that it is safer than the original route, and it really doesn't hurt anything, other than being a redundant (i.e. ugly) route. At this point, they tolerate it...
