I think you'll find it easier than you think with a kit like that. I used Speedway's version on my first wiring project and they are labeled and laid out so well. Just take your time so you get the routing like you want it. I had far more circuits than I needed but it was just for my Jeep.

The cj windshield frame has holes to match up to the defroster vents in the cj cowl. The yj does not. That's about the only difference I know of. I have a cj windshield frame on my yj tub. I cut holes in the cowl to match up to the cj frame since I did a cj style conversion dash.

You're in the car business. The right deal will come along. (Not for $5000) I stand by my opinion of a JK Rubicon of some sort. I just don't see any other option to accomplish what you're asking. Any of the cheap options are going to require extra money to be brought up to spec, meet your needs...
