What books are you reading (or listening to?)

Maybe not next, because I feel the need to get back to Skippy and the ExForce, but it's certainly on my list for the near future.

What books are you reading (or listening to?)

After finishing "The End of the World is Just the Beginning," I found some fiction that takes us down a different path. 2034: A Novel of the Next World War shows us what conflict with China could look like and how it could humble us both.

    Hunting Season Opened for us

These are all mourning doves. Locally we have mourning, white-wing, and the invasive Eurasian collared dove. The latter two species are mostly in the valley near the river (Rio Grande) and in town. I don't like hunting those places because there are more people, so I go out to remote desert...

    Hunting Season Opened for us

The year's first hunt was for pronghorn. My wife and daughter each had a tag. My daughter got her first ever pronghorn, but we just couldn't connect on one for the wife.

    Picked up a trailer

I'll just keep on running made in the USA Goodyear Endurance. Seven years and counting on my fifth wheel with no issues. Going strong on my boat and horse trailers too.

I finished this a while back and definitely recommend it. It dumbed down the effects of globalization/industrialization and impending deglobalization/deindustrialization, along with all the economic voodoo associated with such, into an interesting and understandable prediction of future world...

Hindenburg Customs SxS Roll cages for RME4x4 members.

Hmm, very nice work. Makes me curious about two things for my 2023 Ranger Crew. 1. A roof rack that two people can stand on. Yes, it's odd, but I want to use the roof as a glassing platform for big game hunting. I have almost bought the Rhino Rack a couple times, but it's only rated at 150...

    What are you listening to?

Would have been even better with the final verse. The version that popped up after that by State of Mine had the final verse and was quite well done too.

    Political So now what

Pro some guns. Supports red flag laws, universal background checks, and "assault weapons" bans. Maybe a little better than the party line because he is a hunter, but not much better.

What books are you reading (or listening to?)

Ken Follett has some good stuff. I mentioned his "On Wings of Eagles" previously in this thread and encourage you to give it a go if you like "Never."

    Ladies carry pistol?

I personally agree with you. However, my wife refuses to carry a pistol without an active safety. I'd rather she have a pistol with a safety than no pistol at all, so baby 1911 it is, at least for her. That little Sig has proven to be very reliable, she shoots it accurately, she can manipulate...

What books are you reading (or listening to?)

I'm about halfway through "The End of the World is Just the Beginning" by Peter Ziehan. It's fascinating. If half of what this dude thinks is going to happen in the next couple decades on the world stage actually happens, we're in for quite a shitstorm.
