Tools that you just can't live without

I ended up with that drill because my wife wanted something mounted to the wall in a small gap beside her china hutch. I told her she could either unload the hutch so I could move it OR pony up for a new toy, I mean tool. Worked out well for both of us...

Well, I suppose. Perhaps I should have said "right angle." Right angle drill

Tools that you just can't live without

My battery powered ratchet has been a wonderful addition to my tool arsenal. That and the cool 90-degree drill I got.

What books are you reading (or listening to?)

Just finished the third one of the series; many good chuckle-worthy moments. Bray does a fantastic job with these books.

    Lighten the mood

Thanks, but I have actually been flirting with the notion of an upgrade, at least in the truck. It hasn't had disc in it for at least five years.

Let's talk Chicken.. The pets, not the food..

Just 7? My wife made me count last night - we have 58 NEW birds in various stages of brooding and growing. Chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese. Stupid 4-H projects.

New cars are worse than old cars

I'm with you, no smart stuff in my house. I have enough of that with my phone. My wife can't can peaches, but I can, and I have taught my daughter. We make and can peaches, jam, jelly, and several large batches of salsa each year. But you're right, it's kind of a lost art/science that maybe...

New cars are worse than old cars

I like some of the new car features, but you can keep all that nanny crap. My wife's 2020 tries to drive for me (smart cruise, lane correction, and on and on). I hate it. I'd rather drive my "old" 2011 commuter car or 2006 Ram.

    Favorite carry?

The standard M&P .22 LR is a great little handgun. This one looks like more of a handful, but I bet it's a good pistol.

    Your Pic of The Day

Same exact thing happened to me a few months ago on my fifth wheel, right down the guy gesturing after I felt and saw nothing. At least my wife, who was just a few cars behind the helpful observer behind, saw the wheel/tire bail off the road and went and fetched it.

General Tech What did you work on Today?

That would be helpful! Thank you. At least then I can go directly to your channel and check it out, and likely subscribe since you do pretty cool stuff.

General Tech What did you work on Today?

This is cool Mike. My 5.9 Cummins is at 135k, so given the 150k requirement you mention, I'll have to adjust valves in a couple years. Probably gonna need to refer back to this and a little Youtube U.

This. After all this work, real lights would be like icing on the perfect cake. Surely you can tuck a little battery in there somewhere...

    Auto repair ramps?

I've got a pair of the Rhinos too and like them (well enough that I'll be adding a second pair so I can get all four tires above ground).
