The USAF Thunderbirds are wintering near me and burning lots of jet fuel getting ready for their show season.

Our outfit, which uses trucks with arms, will drive right past a can with the opening facing the house. The hinge better be facing the house or you'll have a can full the next day.

Though the wife is only five years out, I'm 20. She will likely retire from one job and work another for the rest of my time, dumping all that income into a retirement account. When it's time, who knows what we'll do. We have the type of property right now that we could close down and walk away...

Ah, an idea. Maybe the wife and daughter each need a five-pounder...

I'm a little jealous. On the advice of medical counsel, I suspended my coffee intake back in February and switched to decaf green tea. It's warm, but NOT coffee. Oh well, the switch seems to have mostly done the trick, as the issue I faced prior is mostly resolved. I don't have to like it though.

We loved our Honda Pilot for 180,000 miles, then sold it to move to something a bit smaller (and newer...). Though it was only FWD, I understand the AWD is pretty capable in bad weather. You won't off-road in it though...

Agreed as well. I wasn't a big fan of Romney when he ran for the big office, but at this point in the game, I'd be chomping at the bit to vote for him over what we've had available recently.

Tony, as far as I know, I have not had COVID. Way back in February 2020 an illness ran through the kids - all three got it to some degree and all tested negative for flu and strep. Could have been COVID, as they had all the "right" symptoms, but it was before COVID was the thing, so no testing...

Excellent! It's so cool to see you out fishing and hunting with your kids. Our season started August 1 with my son's oryx hunt. He fill that tag on the 7th. Tomorrow is the dove opener though, so we'll get back to it.
