    Nate’s longterm tiny shop build

Same crap the concrete pump guys did when they poured my shop floor in May. I have most of the oil off the driveway. Dish soap worked for me

Just wait until the inspector makes up random rules to follow. When we started electrical in my shop, I made sure to have the inspector come our before the concrete pour to inspect the ground rods. She told me that she wanted to see them after the pour, meaning they couldn't be poured...

How much flex to trap wires?

I agree, certainly seems like flexing might be the issue. Did you give a run down on this new rig somewhere and I miss it? Looks like a great vehicle

    Funny acting alternator..

Diode in the rectifier bridge can act weird when starting to fail as well. Definitely check grounds. A ground directly to the alternator case is a good idea

I've had a couple of Odysseys, and other than a high price, they have done me well; I use a dedicated AGM tender on it too

Herzog is hitting the right things. We pulled 140 ft of 3/0 aluminum for my shop this spring, through 2" conduit. I couldn't get the job done by myself, I had to get help. 2 days to get it done. Less turns are better, and big sweeps for turns will make it easier. I'm glad its done now

2020 gladiator sport axles on wj

I believe you can buy one piece axle shafts to eliminate the axle disconnect. The disconnect housing is somewhat of a weak area with the tube, but can be strengthened with gussets

    Your Pic of The Day

Started pulling chiles, got about 12 lbs here. Lots more to go. Got a batch in the freeze drier and tried roasting some, but the BBQ grill didn't get hot enough, ended up cooking them :(instead

Garden harvest time. We have lots of ripe veggies now. This year we tried growing Green Chiles (actually seeds from Hatch NM), so technically they could be called "West Haven Green Chiles." They are supposed to be medium heat, and I believe they are a little hotter. We roasted a few...

    Another 'what tow rig' thread.

Pretty happy with my 2002 F350, last full year of the 7.3, no emission equipment. I fixed the oil lines that tend to leak with o-ring-style (commercial) and have never had a leak since. Maybe not the most powerful truck, but will haul 20,000 lbs plus no problem and still manage 13-ish miles...
