A few decades back (3 actually), I performed a 4.3 TBI engine swap, mated to a TH350 trans and used the Howells Plug and Play harness. Super slick install and looks factory. The newest version of the 4.3 nets 100hp more that the 1st Gen and weighs less, double bonus!

Do you weld/have access to a welder? A short section of DOM, with a right and left-hand threaded tube adapter welded into each end, should net you the result that you are looking for. You'll need the diameter and thread pitch of the Tera linkage to know what adapters you need to purchase...

Words of truth. I did the WJ knuckle swap on my XJ about 9 yrs ago and also moved the steering linkage OTK. Zero regrets and it brakes and steers awesome.
