It's true, finding the right holster(s) for you, can be a costly adventure. I ended up with 8 or so holsters for my XD40sc, as it was my first CC rig. Took some honing in on what and how I like to carry. I used 2 of the 8 holsters; Crossbreed Supertuck, and Blackhawk Serpa.

For IWB, crossbreed supertuck; for the reasons that Bryson listed. For OWB I really like Blackhawk Serpa. My day to day setup right now is a Galco ankle holster with a thumb snap on the inside.
