For all the horses, here's some water if you want to drink. What has RTP done for you? Bathrooms at 5MP is one I can think of off the top of my head. Projects on the Paiute trail system. The Deseret Peak Moto complex in Tooele. Trail maintenance equipment for State Parks & Rec. Backcountry...

More threats to the recreational trails program - help needed

Immediate Action Needed for Recreational Trails Program The Recreational Trails Program (RTP) is one of the most important sources of funding for our motorized trail systems. Without this program, thousands of miles of motorized trails would no longer exist or would not have been possible in...

    Help or Ideas...

Maybe. Depends on the amount and the condition of the Scouts. Post up some pics and tell me what you want to get out of them. I always like to buy Scout parts, for the right price.

    Stockton Hills OHV Routes

It looks like the same routes that some of the local land owners have favored and proposed in the past. The proposal includes closing a few cross country routes that passed through private property. Not sure about the exact loss of recreational opportunity. Tooele County Trails Committee has...

Planning a service project for land use

Pick a place that means something to you, contact the managing agency in charge, speak to a Rec Planner (if BLM) or Volunteer Coordinator (if USFS) and express interest, pick a project, plan it, publicize it, execute it, repeat. Focus.

Why don't you point out what isn't true? Waiting. It's funny that you think you can claim to know anything about something that happened years before you were ever involved. But somehow, you know more than the people who were involved? Interesting.

Nobody's buying your BS. Lol, it's always someone else's fault that you can't do anything.

Do something more for land use - monthly service projects

Leadership doesn't happen by committee. Make it happen. If you're waiting on someone else, you're taking too long. Instead of starting threads, make something happen IRL. Indeed! One project would be a good start!

Double snap! I did too, but I should have picked a better chump. :( I understand why you take it personally, but I don't think anyone is deriding the efforts of the few hard working volunteers involved. Rather the ineptitude of the group as a whole. In this case, the whole is less than...

That was our plan. Alan Taylor and I stood at Forest Lake with the then District Ranger discussing this idea. Her response? "Why would I open Pittsburgh Lake? Look at this mess." We came up with a five year plan. It actually would have ended this season. But U4WDA is better off when it...
