In looking through my "Classic 4x4s" book by Jim Allen the gear ratio's were 4.89 or 5.83 on the heavier GVW models. The 251 cid made 125 HP, 216 FPT. There is no mention of a limited slip option available.

Yes No None except factory installled??? They are a closed knuckle, huge odd ball 5 lug rim axle. I'm guessing that most brake parts would be hard to find/impossible and very expensive. These axles would only be good for a restoration I would think but I'm just guessing.

Tear-a-part is a great place but I think your going to have a hard time finding anything newer especially a Tacoma, there or at Pick-N_Pull. I've been suprised before w/ seeing something newer but its rare. Your best bet is the yards where they pull the part. They usually pay more $ for the...
