I have not pulled the case cap off the ARB yet, but I can see the broken pin. In this carrier it appears there is a pin insert under the non-rg side cap and retained by that cap.

Dig into it, I need to replace the whole axle....It appears that when it bound up the carrier oblonged the bearing caps. It also seems to have spread the case as there was no preload on the carrier. Even though I did not own the truck at the time, I was around when the ARB was installed. It had...

I highly doubt this one was install error! The installer can pipe up if he wants. But he is one of 3 people besides my self that I would trust to do gears....(installed for previous owner) No I don't need a locker. this ARB case is FUBAR, it would need to be replaced. Not worth the $$ or time...

Not my lucky day....BC , you're right. Several chunks of the pinion are missing, pin is BENT, and the arb dif case is wallowed out by the pin. FUBAR!
