    After seeing all the unfinished block and unfinished drywall, I'd say the first thing is to paint it all bright white to maximize visibility. It will definitely help make the most of your shop lights. I have a commercial airless sprayer to help in that department. I can't say enough good...

    My first welder was a Lincoln 180A home depot version from a guy on craigslist for $300. Box was still sealed ("his ex bought it for him and he couldn't stand to keep anything associated with her"). I didn't submit the warranty card :rolleyes:

    Paint issues - What did I do wrong? Need help

    Phosphoric acid (available at Home Depot by the gallon in the paint dept.) is the prime ingredient in most rust converters (sometimes plus a vinyl sealer). Converts Iron oxide to Iron Phosphate which is much more stable. Sand a bit to smooth it out then paint.
