He's going to be in the hospital for the next few days "as a precaution". This has the makings of being the icing on 2020's terrible cake. Either way this goes.
I'm developing a non soil based growing system aimed at increasing food availability and reducing the environmental impact of providing that food. I'm at the point where I need to build a medium scale "entry level" sized system, and am building a 10x12 shed to house it. It will have heating...
As I plan the build for my garden system development shed, I'm leaning towards metal siding on the inside walls. It's going to be insulated, sheathed outside probably with T111, but the interior is going to have a very high humidity and I'll likely be welding in there while building the system.
Never a fun way to go. I managed to separate my shoulder Monday night, didn't realize how bad it was until I got up on Tuesday. Went to the hospital, got put on light duty, but my employer doesn't do light duty. So, now I get to be home. Yay.
We had a pretty hellatious blast up here. The wind was building all day, tons of dust and smoke in the air, then stopped for about an hour before going absolutely nuts in the other direction. The power flickered, sirens all over town, and I thought for sure my big willow tree out back was...

It could be much worse, they could have gotten you an automatic KW. At least the DT12 is pretty decently programmed, and has a decent creep ability. The DD13 has been pretty reliable as well, I have three of those in my local fleet and aside from a very bizarre starter failure last week...
I replaced one of the front wheel bearings on my wife's Explorer, I let it go a little too long. Made a run to the bank, and had a bit of steering wheel wobble, grinding, squealing. I took the back roads home. I've only had the new one sitting since March or so.
It's related to other FCA products, and it shows a bit too much. I just see a scaled up fwd Cherokee. Between the insistence on the squashed 7 slot grille, and the odd wheel arch flats, it looks more like a reimagined H2 than a Wagoneer.
For my 40th birthday I crossed 240lbs. The medications they have me on make me gain weight and pour sweat with the lightest exertion, but I really need to get back down a bit. A few weeks ago, I made one of the hardest sacrifices in my weight loss: No more Mountain Dew. I had been drinking...
