Governor and Outdoor Industry Association to Release Utah’s Outdoor Recreation Vision

I read through it rapidly and personally did not see anything about preserving routes except the comment about supporting RS2477 claims. I did note that Mike Noel, Lynn Stevens, Fred Hayes, and Gordon Topham were contributors so at least our voice was heard. Maybe Paul Anderson can give us...

I would like to see the words in writing. I am afraid I will be ready for a good cry.

    Buying a home

Joan and I have been taking our money out of CD's (1-2%) and buying homes to rent. So far it has been a good decision. In our one year of looking at property we have come to these conclusions. All the good lots in the valley have been bought up by developers and they take the profit out of...

Political thread: interesting idea that's time is way past due

Great ideas but I personally believe Huntsman is too liberal and does not believe in following the Constitution. We do not have to like each other to do what is right and good for the country. Putting politicians on social security would be a start.

Experience with any of the pocket 9mm guns?

I am getting in on this late but from about 1959 until 1979 I carried a Beretta .22 long rifle that I think was made around 1950. Sold the gun and do not remember the model number. No permit, whats a permit, and only friends knew about it because it was so easy to carry. My uncle Howard had a...

"The folly of trusting the Fed to manage lands better than the states." Thread Split

Yeah you are right I got a little carried away. The word is namby pamby and is usually used to describe politicians that are not committed. I would never spit in your face because you have done too much for the off road community and you would probably be able to beat the tar out of me. I...

    another new guy

Welcome on behalf of RME and the U4WDA. Be sure to read all the instructions in "Introductions & using the Forum". U4WDA believes the four wheeling community is best served by: 1. Education thru the use of classes, pamphlets, and films to teach responsible conservation. 2. Use Auto Dealerships...

"The folly of trusting the Fed to manage lands better than the states." Thread Split

Joseph, you are 100% correct. These other guys are mamby pamby talkers that do not want to get involved in actual action which I know is not true but that is the way it comes across. I wish all of our congressmen would read the constitution and we had enough guts to hold them to it.

"The folly of trusting the Fed to manage lands better than the states." Thread Split

I would rather have some one in SLC following my suggestions then some one in DC that listens to all the other states too. There is an old saying about keeping your enemy close so he is easier to hit in the head when he needs it.
