Hmm.....another Dana 44...$100. Dana 60...$1300 at least. Hmmm..... 100........1300.........100.......1300........ Where is the place to get another 44 anyways? Pick n Pull? EZ

Not sure what happened. The casting obviously broke away.....but we never noticed if the tube twisted or not. Marc noticed that the welds in the broken off cast part was about as strong as a bird turd sticking the two parts togather. It didn't happen during a nasty bounce or climb or...

So what should I replace it with? Requirements: Same approx width (58"), 5 on 5.5 bolt circle, and uh...that's it I guess. Another 44 (with trussed housing/tubes) seems to be the local favorite at the moment. I can re-use all the internals. Ford 9" and 60's are in the running too. EZ

I hate to hear that a bypass may be made at Rocker Knocker or Rock Pile. I'd rather see some drilled-in reinforced pipe and cable strung along, (guardrail style) to keep people "in bounds". Along with some signage "if you can't make it, winch or turn back". Some permanent winch points (6"...

Okay, I've heard of some kind of anti-mud spray recipe that you can use to prevent mud from sticking to your undercarriage. WD40 would sort of work, but I think after enough water splashed on it, it will all rinse off and the mud will start to stick. This is in preparation for the TTC event...

ha!! That one is actually mine. Nice little brake, real handy for a lot of things, but it won't bend a full 24" of 16 gauge. Maybe if you torch it first and get it hot...but not cold. If you forced it I'm afraid it would tweek it (the brake, not the metal.) Could you have Kingdon Sheetmetal...
