Nope--it began to unfold right in front of you. However, I presumed you were too busy prepping your winch and maneuvering your Jeep to fully comprehend what was going on. THAT. For those of you who weren't there, here is what happened. The red TJ (piloted by a non-RME member) was hopelessly...

I sure thought so. Even that can be fun. I enjoy a recovery as much as the next guy, and it's nice to make sure your winch is operating properly. (Except for the one bone-headed recovery attempt two of the guys were going to try until we forced them to do it correctly.) I agree completely...

That's a fair question, and I'd be lying if I said that exact thought didn't cross my mind when I found out he really is open/open. This would have been my reaction, but there were two problems: 1. I had no empty seats in my vehicle, period. 2. Even among the other three 'capable' rigs, there...

    2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel

Har, har. :p You were like a kid in a candy store--everywhere you looked, you saw something wonderful. It was fun to watch. In all seriousness, I'm glad this finally came together like it did. Now it's time to update your signature. :)

Yeah, this was a miracle. Actually, that's not true; the mere fact that we got the JKU through the trail at all was a total miracle. That we managed to do it all with the only required repair stop being to change a tire was extremely fortunate.

This won't be a trip report so much as a brief summary. Simply put, there is no way I can expound on all the details of the adventure--and it was an adventure, to be sure--because it would take me a full week of typing just to cover it all. To explain it with one word, it was epic. We ended...

It looks like we'll have 5 or 6 vehicles, which for HT is a fine group size. I know you said you wanted to caravan down with me. You can join up at my house in Lehi (which is off the highway a bit) by 7:15, or you can meet at the rendezvous point at the Springville Wal-Mart (right next to the...

Central Utah post-surgery July 5th run of Hanging Tree Trail or the Pinnacle Trail

I finally had a chance to speak with James. After that conversation, I feel confident to lead the group on this run. :) Now I just need to know I have a group to lead. Are you guys listed above still in? Most of my non-RME attendees have dropped out....
