Thought I would post up some pictures from last week’s trip to Moab.
The wife and I wheeled with some friends from the FMCA 4-Wheelers club that we belong to the first part of the week. This wasn’t a club sanctioned event per se, just some friends getting together prior to the official FMCA...
We installed the CB in my son’s WJ last night.
Installed the antenna and worked our way forward. Through the left tail light opening and along the passenger interior trim panels up to the center console where we installed the unit. Everything is completely concealed with the exception of the...
Saturday my son and I got a few little things done on his WJ. Not as much as we would have liked but these little details took a bit more time than I had anticipated.
We installed his tire carrier that has been sitting on my shop floor for about nine months now.

Last night my son came by after work and we were able to get the aux. transmission cooler completed as well as the upper and lower radiator hoses installed and most all of the engine bay reassembled with the exception of the battery tray.
I fabricated three brackets to mount the cooler...
Thanks. I add a drain and/or temp sending unit on all of my personal vehicles and used to offer it as a service to clients which many had me perform.
I have a MAC seal puller like you describe but I've found a heel bar is just as quick and easy but you have to pay a little more attention or...
What a great day working with my son in the shop on Saturday afternoon. I’ve missed that lately.
Started by dropping the transmission pan.
Actually looks pretty good with very little sludge.
While everything was dripping off I machined a bung to be welded in the pan for the transmission...
