    700R4 to 4L60E conversion

I need a little help from you engine and tranny gurus. What's involved in exchanging a 700R4 (from a 95 firebird) with a 4L60E in a 80's diesel? I've heard the output shafts are different on the 2wd from the 4wd, I know the 4wd is supposed to be 3" from the rear main casing. So do you...

    Stolen~ '71 Cruiser, $5000 Reward!!

I can't explain how mad this makes me. If it's recovered make sure you don't touch it untill it's been fingerprinted and a full report's been taken. Cops are useless unless you force them to do their job. I got a call at like five in the morning from dispatch saying thay found my jeep...

    Stolen- '84 Jeep Cherokee!!

look for the rocker panels, they're diamond plate. I made them and you won't see them anywhere else, if you see them you'll know what you're looking at. Oh yeah, it was stollen in the Murray area, around 3rd East and 4500 South. It was sometime last night, it'll have a broken window on the...

    Stolen- '84 Jeep Cherokee!!

Thanks for the sympathy guys, there's no real way of describing how you feel when a dude steals your jeep. As far as aftermarket stuff, there's a Wilderness roof rack, BFG 33 mt's on black spoke rims, cross drilled rotors. That's really the only aftermarket stuff of real value, it had...

    Stolen- '84 Jeep Cherokee!!

oops, I meant to post that. It was my jeep, not brads I'm baffled. Who would steal a 84 jeep cherokee with a wheezy 2.8 and 150,000 miles? Not to mention terrible driveline angles and bad alignment.

    73 FJ40 sending unit ohms?

Anyone know what the ohms rating for a 73 cruiser sending unit is? I've tried to call cruiser outfitters but they're not around, I called cruiser engineering and they weren't willing to help me at all. Just said nope to every question I asked them.

No, go ahead and vent. We know your pain. In fact many of us are plagued by the uni as well... I think I'm going to invent a frame conversion kit or something like that. Or maybe I'll call it a "add-a-frame" kit or something like that. hehe..

    Question of the day.

Broken axles...broken T-case...broken steering, never a broken (1310) u-joint. It's possible with higher gears though.

    I have another WJ question

For the record, you have experience running the old arms at 6 and 8 inches of lift, make that known when you complain about them. You may have driving a vehicle with them for longer than I but you have no means of comparison, ever driven a jeep with skyjacker, or a RE kit, or Tuff or any other...
