Anyone had experience with BOMZ high flow cats?

Klif, let me fill ya in. High flow cats are the same thing as any other cat, they just come in a fancy box. No company puts any more of that precious metal (the mesh that restricts flow)in their cats than they have too and every company has to put in at least what the government regulates...

    I have another WJ question

WRONG! They are not technically 3.5" and never have been. The only kit offered for grands is a 3 (THREE) inch kit. Part # 3Z the "3" standing for the number of inches of lift provided. So you either have the 4" TJ spring, not rated for the weight of your jeep or the 3" zj spring, also not...

    I have another WJ question

Man, how many times do we have to go through this. Your arms sucked because your ran short arms at 8 inches. They were threaded out to where the threads were showing. When they're threaded out that far, or anything over their intended 4 inches (3 for zj's) you only are left with about an inch...

    I have another WJ question

XJ and ZJ arms are the same, no diff, TJ's are usually different. WJ's are different lengths and have different bushings so a RE kit wouldn't work unless you did something custom.

Any ideas for a flexy XJ lift?

A lot of people say "cool" but I think WACKED! That's the problem with a forum, you don't know if the people know any better. Look at those freaky 12" rear shackles. I give him one good day on the rocks to fold those over. Think about all the cracks his uni will get with those freaky...

You guys are missing out. Extended shackles don't decreause approach and departure angles. Think about it.

    RE bushing and race replacement

There are c-clips holding the washers and races in place. It's simple, remove them and nock everything out. I doubt a propane torch would get anything hot enough to free it up but it's worth a try. I would try a vice and long prybar first. If the hardware is in good shape I wouldn't...

Any ideas for a flexy XJ lift?

If it were me spending the $16## then I'd go with Clayton's kit. RE kits are nice, but Clayton's are nicer.:D

Any ideas for a flexy XJ lift?

Yeah, all lift kit manufacturers do this. They "release" the kit at some expected date. This doesn't mean you can have it though. The manufacturer produces 3 or 4 kits and lets a select few run the prototypes. This way they can see what cracks and shimmys develope, they resolve the problem...

Any ideas for a flexy XJ lift?

I just had a talk with the boys at RE and the kit isn't out. It's still in the R&D stages. He said they hope to have it out in three months.

Any ideas for a flexy XJ lift?

It's not all that hard to fit 35's. It would be cake for a body shop to trim for them. Here's my .02. Rockkrawler kits have had problems with their torque arms breaking. You never want one of them to break on you or you'll get a flopy axle and you don't want that. RE doesn't have a...
