The guy was an off-duty police officer, had been listening to proceedings and helping police... I couldn't care less if there was an impending insurance mess, if I was able to stop some idiot teen for potentially causing more damage or bodily harm, I'd have done the same. Good on this guy.

Sad day, but sounds like it is what you ultimately wanted. The time until you start building again will fly by. While I'm not on the "fully built" end of the spectrum, I've always got room for passengers. More than welcome.

Agreed. If you want a mud fix, hit up Baccaus, west desert, or some other area. Leave the trails alone.
