Northern Utah Snakes on Thursday afternoon, May 22nd

As much as I want to go, I unfortunately have to bow out. Last night I was doubled over in pain and this morning confirmed it -- appendicitis! I just barely got home from the hospital -- surgery went really well -- and I'm going to be taking it easy the next few days. As much as I want to...

    Northern Utah Last wheeling trip??????

Congrats, man!! 5 weeks in with our first, and I'm just starting to THINK about asking wifey for a full day... After work, sure, but a full weekend day? Ha.

I'll see what I can do. Amazon is an option, but being gone wifey would surely open it. I got a rack and new ball-hitch this month already.... :D

So if I'm gone on business until right before we wheel.... Haha. I will be CB-less for this one.

Sounds like fun all around. Count me in for Rattlesnake in my own, and we'll see on the rest. If not, I can take video and pics of everyone else on RR and Constrictor.

I've done a Rattlesnake twice, once in the snow and once just last weekend. Didn't give me any issues. I'd like to see RR/Constrictor, get a visual feel so to speak.

Well, having never done Radiator or Consteictor, heck, not having even been to them... Perhaps not the best plan? I know my limits, I'm a good driver, and can pick a good line. Credit that with driving a big truck/trailer elk hunting in northern Idaho. Isuzu IFS isn't super flexy, but rear is.

Ah... Well, if I was to attempt RR and Constrictor, and took simple lines, could it be done? I have a good amount of lift, near-33s, and open/LSD.

Yeah yeah. Count me in. Would appreciate a ride on Constrictor, and maybe RR, though... Sliders/armor aren't on yet.

Totally get it, makes sense. We had windshield, body panels, and paint. No mechanical.

The Snakes; Weather & Trail conditions

Must, wonder if it didn't get rain at all on Friday. From parking/staging area to mouth of Rattlesnake it was dry and dusty, as you got further in the dust lessened. Hardly any moist soil. Up by the mine tailings there were a few puddles where the water accumulated, but that was it. Not until...

I've used them - they repaired our Beetle after it was vandalized pretty heavily while in college. They did good work, we were pleased. This was the South Provo location, can't comment on others.

Just imagine if you didn't have that bumper.... This is making me rethink my bumper design/fab in the next few months.
