    Epoxy Floors?

This has been my concern, along with cutting/grinding sparks. I have not heard good reports of it holding up. However, not sure what kind of epoxy they were using. I'll have to do some more research as I'd love to have it in the new shop.

    2017-18 Chukar Season

Two more last weekend. No pictures. It was a windy day yesterday, which makes for tough hunting. Chukars hate the wind and seem to disappear. Finally got into some after about 15 miles total of straight up and down.

Quick (hopefully) TBI 350 swap in my "Jeep"

When you get this running... I did the automagic taurus fan thing last summer. I had been running it manually for years too. I used the BMW/Volvo junkyard parts. Seems to work well. Plenty of info on line but I'd be happy to help if you have questions.

    Lame Joke Thread

Ok.... In this overly cautious/sensitive world, I'll admit it, I laughed at that one.

Carl, you're a real wheeler dealer! You drive a hard bargain.

So, you think your Jeep is Hardcore. ha ha ha

Sure enough! I didn't notice until you pointed it out. That being said, my respect for the Kia Sorento is only slightly greater than my respect for Dan Mick.

My kid put his papers in for a two year stint somewhere...guesses where???

Yeah, I guess it is a whole country, with a lot of people. It just looks so small on the map... He's in Seoul, South.

    Dana Axles?

Do you need an offset rear axle? Which transfer case did you end up running with your engine swap?

Cab over camper & car hauler... what truck?

Greg, you might want to check into this one. Maybe more than you were looking to spend? I came across it under the non-running cars??? https://www.ksl.com/classifieds/listing/50976159

My kid put his papers in for a two year stint somewhere...guesses where???

My nephew is in Korea. You'll have to give me your son's name and I'll see if they have crossed paths. My nephew's name is Nicholas Dalley if you want to ask your son.

    2017-18 Chukar Season

West desert. I've probably walked every mountain out there. I did 10 miles that day and about 2500' elevation. Seems like all the elevation gain is in the first mile. From there it's a lot of up and down. You don't notice as much when you're into the birds. I'm sure the dogs do 2-3 times the...

    2017-18 Chukar Season

Due to the shop building project this year, I pretty much missed the 2017 portion of the 2017 / 2018 chukar hunt. Now that it's dried in, it's time to put some lead in the air. Saturday was a great day... For me and the dogs! Not so much for these five.

I'm a sucker for neat engines...

Not to hijack Greg's engine thread.... But yes, please post pics of the GTO and the '54 in a new thread. I have a '49 GMC and have sourced the 5.3 for it. It goes in the garage as the next project as soon as I finish the garage project. Greg, I too, appreciate you buying cool things. It seems...

Quick (hopefully) TBI 350 swap in my "Jeep"

I wish I could remember a little better from doing mine. There is definitely a signal for start up that sends an initial squirt for start up and a separate signal to keep it running. I had the same issue when I installed mine. It would fire and continue to run if I fed it fuel. I think you're on...

Good, because I'll be in Morgan on Sunday, where the ad was posted from, and I might have been tempted to look.

I'm a sucker for neat engines...

I ignored that jeep ad earlier today. Thanks, a lot, for bringing it to my attention again. I need that jeep like Greg needs another engine. And I only have 1 Jeep.

    SBC 350 Knock Sensor

I can't really tell from your picture and I'm not home to look at mine, but I'd go with cheap and easy. Because that's how I like 'em... (Solutions, that is) Reroute as best as you can. Also, can you get/make a heat shield of some sort? Similar to what's on the stock manifolds. I made a little...
