it was just me and dutchman and it was the big step up with the drivers side door smasher rock. my front end pitched over to the passengers side and got hung up on a couple rocks, backed up to adjust and crunched the drivers corner under my tail light.. got a short video but nothing special...

i've always been more of a fan of the scx10 myself, but for kids you cant go wrong with the wraith. no body to worry about breaking. both are pretty tough out of the box. either direction you go will have plenty of aftermarket parts

finally got the budbuilt xmember in. blew up the starter and have been meaning to change the rear main for awhile so she got the treatment. rear main, clutch, starter, t-case mount and budbuilt x-member. still wont stay in 1st gear, something internally wrong with the trans. anyway, increased...

this is my ultimate plan, i like the welded rear and dont see how an automatic locker could be any better?! i've been wheelin with a runner that had a spool up front, its like trying to navigate a semi through the trail. go with an automatic or selectable locker in the front end. just my 2...

i dont mind having mine welded. chirps pulling in and out of parking stalls, and u-turns.. but FREE! not sure about tire life, havent been running it long enough and dont drive it every day. i wouldnt think it would be a night and day difference on tire wear though. i'm all about free mods! :)

is the jeep jamboree going to mean the trail will be packed?

i loved my bfg at's, super tough side walls on those things. i think the tread width is all personal preference. personally, my 32x12.50's work great on my rig. i like the look of the wider tires as well as the additional rubber contact when aired down.
