    Single axle Samurai trailer

I had started another thread like this a while back, but it's gone, and that trailer is too. After seeing Hickey's new Jeep dolly build, I thought I should share this here. Hopefully I can get some decent advice instead of the all the Facebook professional fabricators that don't seem to...

    The Jeep Dolly

I'm building a combination of #1 and #3 for my Samurai right now. I have built the main frame out of 2x2 tube, with one rail being 3/16, and the other 1/4, because I got it for free. But I will be adding upper rails similar to the ladder style or utility trailer. All the Facebook warriors...

For Sale VW TDI 1.9 ALH engine w/ 70k miles!

Dude, you NEED to have a diesel samurai. Get a DCS 'Yota adapter, throw a W56 behind it, on 'Yota axles. My next samurai build will be gas just because I'm on a budget now that I'm buying a house, but I loved it, the torque was awesome!

For Sale VW TDI 1.9 ALH engine w/ 70k miles!

Dang, I sold one with 80k for $800 last year. I’m sure it’ll sell, but it took a long time to get any interest in the one I was selling. I see them on KSL fairly often with higher miles that don’t really seem to sell easily.

    Your Pic of The Day

Two hours into work this morning, and I had to go get 6 stitches. Not the worst, but definitely not the way I would have preferred my morning to go.

    Waiting sucks

Thats a pretty typical eBay seller tactic. They show a tracking number on eBay so they can claim “fast shipping” but very rarely is that the case.

    Epic food porn

My wife has been asking me to make pork belly burnt ends for the last 6 months, this is kinda making me want them now too. Perhaps this weekend...

    Any Mtn Bikers on RME?

My polygon arrived today! Seems really well built! Can’t wait to mess with it more this weekend. It has a 14 day no questions asked return policy and they’ll even pay shipping back if I decide I don’t like it. Has a rockshox revelation up front, and a rockshox deluxe RT3 in the rear. Paid $2100...

    Any Mtn Bikers on RME?

They don't look bad, but just looking at their website, they seem overpriced for what they come spec'd with. Can get a specialized base with the same suspension for $400-$500 less at an LBS.

    I hate Craigslist Lowballers...

The robo callers spoof their numbers as local numbers that they have in their database or whatever, so I too get calls frequently that appear local. I wouldn't be surprised if they are now doing it to texts.

    Any Mtn Bikers on RME?

Ended up ordering a bike today. Decided on a Polygon Siskiu T8. Decided on it because, it was in stock, had good specs and reviews, and was far cheaper than anything at the LBS’ with similar spec components and geometry. Can’t wait for it to be delivered now!!

    Any Mtn Bikers on RME?

Tried to order a full sus bike today from bikesonline.com I’ve been saving for, and it turns out, they’re completely sold out of almost everything. They said their sales with the covid situation, have been through the roof. I was pretty surprised at that. And they don’t have an exact set date...

Suzuki TDI Swapped Samurai Truck Conversion

Here's a short video of the electric power steering, originally I had made the bracket for the EPS motor removable, but had to rework it, so I decided to just lay a bead on each side, if I need to remove it later for some reason, I can just cut the weld and hammer it off. The EPS works awesome...

    Coronavirus

I completely understand what you're saying. My explanation, we are not prepared to handle the situation in that way. I still have to go into peoples offices and work, walk hallways, touch door knobs. All I have is a half empty bottle of hand sanitizer, and a small bottle of clorox wipes. If I...
