    Coronavirus

Multiple cases reported on the campus I work at. Yet HR is refusing to disclose what buildings have been affected, and as an "essential employee", I'm required to be here, and I guess I have to just try to guess which buildings have and haven't been affected.

Not a chance in heck I would have eaten it either, just saying that apparently it won't kill you if you were to eat it.

Stupid neighbor dog just killed my chickens

Piece of hamburger meat laced with arsenic, toss over the fence. Well, maybe that’s too extreme haha. But if you happened to snap a pic of the dog with a bloody mouth, take him to small claims court.

Suzuki TDI Swapped Samurai Truck Conversion

Got the new steering arm mounted, and it steers so much better without the arm bending and springing back, what it was doing with the Mercedes arm. With the merc arm, the steering wheel would pretty much snap back as soon as you let go of it.

    Any artists on here?

I can’t believe it, but my wife actually let me put it up!! We’re not pros, but it helps pass the time. really I suck at drawing, and I kinda dread it, but I love pottery. Just been years since I’ve done it.

    Any artists on here?

No doubt! That's why I decided I needed to ditch it ASAP. It worked okay temporarily, but I wouldn't wanna be stuck on a trail, or on a road when it snapped.

The Mercedes arm is bending under steering torque. Picked up a billet arm. Things heavy and beefy! Pix compared to what I currently have installed.

Then I found this lovely bit going on. The steering arm is bending under the steering torque. Makes sense, it was never intended to handle the pressure it is, it's actually just part of a suspension linkage that happens to work on a samurai with a tiny bit of modification.

    Coronavirus

Where do you work? U of U correct? I work for UVU, and they are refusing to declare a code orange. They apparently don’t realize that if one person in facilities gets sick, the ENTIRE dept will be gone on quarantine.

Suzuki TDI Swapped Samurai Truck Conversion

Decided to do a little re-engineering of my electric power steering setup. Added in another U-joint on output side to help with alignment issues, and I may add another yet on the upper shaft too. Realized my steering box was bone dry too from when I moved a couple years ago and it sat upside...

    Coronavirus

Any chance you can get me a couple cases of those mini bottles? My friends dad who used to work for UP for years in Nebraska used to have those things everywhere!

    Coronavirus

Close! HVAC. Except I work for the state at UVU, and since there is no students in currently, there is hardly anything going on, and we don't have much to do at the moment, other than just keep walking through stuff on campus to make sure it's all still running. That's all we really can do.

    Coronavirus

Been told today that my team and I are “essential employees” and that we’re absolutely required to be here no matter how bad this thing gets, unless we’re actually displaying symptoms, while the entire rest of the campus and a lot of staff are being told to stay home.

    Interesting story I just read

I respectfully disagree. The term overlanding, started out, exactly as the name implies. Over land, across the lands of Australia, and with sufficient resources on board, to be self sustained for a period of time. It is not necessarily the travel of a paved or maintained road. Not all...
