    Financial Peace

Congrats, that's awesome. By the time Baby Boy comes in April, we'll have nothing but our mortgage, which is modest. It's a great feeling.

The one at Bikers Edge is pretty sweet. My wife rolls her eyes as we drive by, apparently I comment on it every time... :D

    Toyota 00-06 Tundras

I think we all wonder about this. We're currently a 3 car family (wifey's Murano, my commuter car, and Trooper) and I often daydream about what I would end up with if I combined commuter/Trooper into one. You're always going to be giving something up in the process - gas mileage, capability...

Northern Utah Five Mile on February 1st

I'm not looking for anything crazy, just to get out (been a while) and explore some new terrain. I know certain places out there are way harder than anything I've been on before. I'm not all that much above stock, so unless people want to be pulling me out a lot... :)

Hi all. Heading out to Five Mile on Feb 1st to do some exploring. I've never been, wanting to get out and experience new trails/areas. Any and all are welcome to join. Meeting place: Maverik Gas Station in Eagle Mountain (9217 N Ranches Pkwy, Eagle Mountain, UT) Time: 9:30am GOING...

Short notice wheeling at 5 mile

At work too... Nerts. Sawtooth - you have the 20th off? I know it's a holiday and 5mile will be busy, but.... It's either that or Feb 1.

    I have a problem.

Haha, I can just imagine my wife's reaction to that. Pass.

Northern Utah Freeze Your Tail Off V

Awesome, thanks guys. I might have one buried in "The Box," but if memory serves I loaned it out and it never found its way home again... To the store I go.

Northern Utah Freeze Your Tail Off V

Is there a definitive map everyone used? I've never been out there and am leery of taking a wrong turn. Is everyone just using GPS? Is the RR clearly marked/followable, or once you get out there does everything look the same? If we can take the RR from the east side of the lake all...

Northern Utah Freeze Your Tail Off V

Thanks for the reminder -- I have a fullsize spare on my Trooper, as he has one on his rig. I'm an overly cautious person, so "The Box" goes everywhere with me - fluids, tools, odds and ends that I've discovered make life easier over the years.

Northern Utah Freeze Your Tail Off V

My work computer won't let me open the hotlinks (at least not the images) to those. Things up that way look "relatively" snow free. I'd be in Trooper and buddy in his LR3, if we go. A lot of this depends on what work brings on Thursday/Friday. If we go it'll be a "hey, can you?" and go thing...

Anyone dealt with a factory warranty?

We had to use the powertrain warranty on our 2006 Nissan Murano. We purchased it in Dec 2009 from Ken Garff Nissan in Orem. Lease return, 39k miles on it. We drove it another 10k miles, with full-synthetic changes every 5k miles. It was just 150 miles after my last oil change and noticed white...

Northern Utah Freeze Your Tail Off V

Good to know. As we're both in Layton we were thinking about doing the other - via Snowville.

So for the Sun Tunnels... When you all went, did you go to Wendover and up, or up and out from Snowville? A buddy and I are thinking about doing the this in the coming days and are trying to figure out the best route.

    Funny CL ad...

If it isn't parted yet, someone should buy that up and replace the starter/battery and have a $700 beater rig. :D

The perfect vehicle situation for Utah...help me decide?!

Congrats on the kid, that's awesome. We're coming up on our first in April, and I'm already socking away cash for the little dude... Would I rather spend it on Trooper? Well, sure, but.... :D I'd echo the above. Keep the 80 and take your time on it. I have been slowly adding to Trooper over...
