Yeah, I think they are good shocks. They used to be the real hot ticket; anyone who was anybody was running them. There are a lot of new choices in the shock department these days. I still think the RS 9000's aren't outdated yet though. EZ

You can always use a scroll saw (jig saw) with metal cutting blade, about 24-28 tpi works pretty nice. EZ

Just remember, there is a lot more skill and planning involved in building a lightweight rig. Less=more. EZ

There is nothing wrong with using CJ leaves. They are way underrated. I have never seen or heard of any stock CJ springs that only have 3 leaves. 4 seems to be the minimum. They look darn near stock height to me. Here is a pic of mine for comparison after I re-arched them before reassembly...
